Day 01

Arrive Cochin

On arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Fort Cochin. Stay at Fort House Hotel for 02 nights. In the evening enjoy a sunset cruise along the harbour.

Day 02

Cochin

Today morning visit Kumbalanghi Model Tourism Village to experience the fishermen village activities like live fish catching, Crab farm, coir making etc. On arrival refresh yourself with a tender coconut drink; later visit the Fishing Village. Later enjoy a home cooked lunch by the side of backwaters. Afternoon you’ll explore the heritage quarters of Fort Cochin & Mattancherry. You will visit the local fish market, Chinese Fishing Nets and the St. Francis Church in Fort Cochin. Later proceed to Mattancherry to see the Dutch Palace and the Jewish Synagogue. In the evening witness Kathakali dance performance. Accompanied by a gong, drums and cymbals, Kathakali performers combine dance and theatre in a ritualistic portrayal of gods and demons.

Day 03

Cochin - Trichur

Late morning drive to Arattupuzha in Trichur. On arrival check in to Neelambari for two nights. Neelambari stands out for its beautiful architecture and setting, outstanding cuisine and hospitality and authentic experiences it can provide. This evening go for a beautiful sunset cruise in the serene Karuvannur Puzha. Verdant landscape, local vegetation and village life as seen from the river offer an engaging experience.

Day 04

Trichur

A guided nature walk through the beautiful countryside around Neelambari is a great way to start the morning. Farms, orchards, riverside and padd fields all come together to present a charming panorama of the Kerala countryside. This morning walk around the neighbourhood to visit the Kalari and art schools to view classes in progress, interact with these Masters and see performance of the senior students in a very informal context. For guests interested in the culture of Kerala, this is an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, we will take a short drive to backwaters near Chettuva. Go on a country boat for a beautiful sunset cruise into the mangroves. As the sun sets, thousands of birds will flock into the mangroves offering an unforgettably magnificent experience.

Day 05

Athirappilly

After breakfast, drive to Athirapilly Waterfalls. Stay at Samroha Resort for the night. Late afternoon trek to the base of Athirappilly water falls.

Day 06

Athirappilly - Munnar

After breakfast, we drive up the hills to the tea country of Munnar. Stay at Ambady Estate for 02 nights, a private plantation retreat. Evening is free to take a stroll through 125 acres of cardamom and spice plantations.

Day 07

Munnar

This morning, enjoy a Lockhart Tea Trail and Factory visit. You can catch stunning views of the green, carpeted tea fields as you follow the tea trail through the Lockhart tea estate. We offer walks lasting from 30 minutes to 03 - 04 hours here. During the tour, you can interact with the ladies picking tea leaves, depending on the area where they are picking and you can also visit the Lockhart tea factory if interested.

Day 08

Teekoy

This morning, we will leave the tea and the spice plantations in Munnar and drive to the small town of Teekoy in the midlands of Kerala. Stay for two nights at Vanilla County, a heritage plantation homestay.

Day 09

Teekoy

Step into a world apart, Vanilla County is a calm tranquil farmstead set in a beautiful garden at the foothills of Vagamon. Set amidst sylvan surroundings and lush greenery where one can wander around spice gardens, mountain streams, rubber plantations, it promises unpolluted and rustic countryside with its slow ambling pace. You have the option to go birdwatching or on nature walks or swimming in natural rock pools.

Day 10

Alleppey

This morning, a short drive will take you to Alleppey known as 'Venice of the East' famous for its narrow canals, lagoons and the Vembanad Lake. On reaching Alleppey, you Stay at Emerald Isle heritage villa for the night. This evening enjoy a country boat ride through the narrow canals to see the life along the backwaters.

Day 11

Alleppey (Backwaters)

Stroll through the village streets or meander through the paddy fields in the morning. Afternoon, board your private houseboat (Kettuvallom) for an overnight cruise through the famous Vembanad Lake. Enjoy a relaxing cruise through the tranquil backwaters and narrow canals enjoying the village life. Your lunch, evening tea and dinner will be served on board the houseboat. Overnight on houseboat.

Day 12

Alleppey - Varkala

After a leisurely breakfast, you disembark from the houseboat at Alleppey, where you’ll be met by the driver and transferred to Varkala. Stay for two nights at Elixir Cliff Beach Resort. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Varkala

Transfer to Trivandrum Airport
