This privare Sout India tour starts with an orientation tour of the cosmopolitan city of Bangalore and continue the journey through the tranquil South; visit the Hoysala temples of Belur&Halebidu; Mysore – the city of palaces & silks; enjoy game drives in Nagarhole National Park to spot the Wild Cats; visit the tea & coffee plantations of Wayanad; colonial port town of Cochin flanked by Chinese fishing nets; experience the backwaters of Kerala and finally to the palm-fringed Mararikulam beach.

Day 01

Bangalore

On arrival in Bangalore, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Stay at Taj Bangalore for the night. Enjoy an orientation tour of Bangalore in the evening.

Day 02

Bangalore – Hassan

After breakfast, drive to Hassan. Stay at Hoysala Village for the night. Visit the interactely carved Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebidu in the evening.

Day 03

Hassan – Mysore

After breakfast, drive to Mysore visiting the monolithic statue of Gomatheswara at Sravanbelgolaenroute. Stay at Royal Orchid Metropole for 02 nights. Visit Chamundi Hills and the colourful fruit and vegetable Devaraja market in the evening.

Day 04

Mysore

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mysore visiting the Mysore Palace, Nandi Bull, Tippu’s Summer Palace and the ruins of the Fort. You also have the option to visit Rangathitto Bird Sanctuary and enjoy a row boat cruise on the Cauvery River to see Eurasian Spoon Bills, Black Crowned Night Heron, different species of Commorants, River Terns and many other species of birds.

Day 05

Mysore - Kabini

After breakfast, drive to Nagarhole National Park. Stay at Kaav Safari Lodge for 02 nights. Enjoy a visit to the jungle this afternoon for a game drive. All activities inside the jungle are arranged by the wildlife authorities - a mix of jeep rides / motor boat trips and canoe rides; all on a shared basis.

Kabini

Enjoy full day of jungle activities.

Day 07

Kabini - Wayanad

Enjoy a game drive in the morning. After breakfast drive to Wayanad. Stay at Tranquil Resort for 02 nights. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 08

Wayanad

Enjoy a visit to the nearby plantations – Coffee / Tea / Spices, visit the market and the Edakkal Caves.

Day 09

Wayanad - Cochin

After an early breakfast, drive to the colonial port town of Cochin. Stay at The Malabar House for 02 nights. In the evening enjoy a private sunset cruise along the harbour.

Day 10

Cochin

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin & Mattancherry in the morning. Visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St Francis Church, Spice Markets, Chinese Fishing Nets and the local fish market. In the evening witness Kathakali dance performance, the traditional dance drama of Kerala based on stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata. Accompanied by a gong, drums and cymbals, Kathakali performers combine dance and theatre in a ritualistic portrayal of gods and demons.

Day 11

Cochin - Alleppey

Late morning, drive to Alleppey, also known as the Venice of the East. Afternoon board your private houseboat (Kettuvallom) for an overnight cruise through the famous Vembanad Lake. Enjoy a relaxing cruise through the tranquil backwaters and narrow canals enjoying the village life. Your lunch, evening tea and dinner will be served on board the houseboat. Overnight on houseboat.

Day 12

Alleppey - Mararikulam

After a leisurely breakfast, you disembark from the houseboat at Alleppey, where you’ll be met by the driver and transferred to Mararikulam Beach. Stay at Xandari Pearl Marari for 02 nights. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 13

Mararikulam

Day at leisure to relax by the beach or to experience some authentic ayurvedic therapies at the Ayurveda Spa.

Day 14

Cochin Airport Drop

In good time, you will be transferred to Cochin International Airport to connect your flight home.
